Cincinnati Preservation Bargains: Considine Ave

If you love Historic Architecture and loved to play Monopoly as kid , then today's Preservation Bargain may be just up your alley.

1025 Considine is not one, not two, but THREE brick Townhouses for sale at 15,500.00! That works out about 5K per unit! One of the units has a small fire, the bank owns it and they want to unload it. These are the same classic brick townhomes you find in Pendleton and OTR for a fraction of the price. They are also a good size to appeal to empty nesters or families just starting out.

Nice stone work over the windows and attractive overall detailing. Imagine these painted in some "painted lady' palette or a more classical palette. Small front yards perfect for "No Grass" landscaping and deep generous lot 140 ft deep means a useful back yard.

These are separately deeded which means they can be condos very easily. Properties in the immediate area are selling in the 60-90K range so the value is definitely here. MLS#1210699 and offered by Steve Elbert Around Town Realty513-779-8400

Do you know of a Preservation Bargain? A house that just needs a "Preservation Hero" to rescue it and bring it back to the elegant home it once was? If so just send me the details along with photo and we may feature it here. Since we started running this series, several homes are now in good hands. Just sent the info to . Saving Cincinnati, One house at a time.

This is a great area with a lot of historic architecture and a variety of styles all around it. With the City grant approved and the financing in place for the Incline Square development nearby, this area is about to take off!
