Antique of the week: "Cleopatra on the Cyndus" 1880's Lithograph

In honor of the Cincinnati Museum Cleopatra Exhibit , this week's antique-of-the week is a hard to find Antique litho entitled "Cleopatra on the Cyndus' by Hans Makart for Gebbie and Company , fine Victorian Era lithographers.

This wonderful antique lithograph depicts Cleopatra  and has an image size of 4" x 10 3/4" and an overall paper size of 10 5/8"x 16 3/8".. I have one of these lithos in my own collection and I have matted it with over-sized hand coloured French Mats and gilded gold frame. They look wonderful framed..
You can get an idea of the incredible detail in this closeup

These were produced originally in limited quantities in the 1880's and  addition to being a fine piece of Victorian  Art they will continue to rise in value since they were produced in limited quantity.

This antique litho is offered for 52.95 and includes FREE shipping. We recommend that antique lithos be stored properly or professional matted and framed with conservation acid free mats. When you can even find these in a  gallery they are often several hundred dollars framed.

Contact me at victiques@gmail.com if you would like this antique litho and we of course take paypal. This print would be a wonderful addition to your Victorian Parlor!
