Antique of The Week: Victorian Parlor/Game Chair Set!

Gaming back in the Victorian days had nothing to do with computers (many didnt even have electricity yet). gaming had to do with the family getting together in the evening after a long day and playing "parlor games" . In most Victorian homes if you were lucky enough to have a full parlor set, you probably had  4 matching parlor chairs. These were designed to gop around a table either in the center of corner of the room and it was a place to gather and entertain.

Finding four matching chairs is getting increasingly harder these days as they are often broken up by dealers who can get more individually for them. We believe in keeping sets together so today we offer this matching set of 4 Parlor/game chairs. This are upholstered in a nice stripped fabric with coordinating gimp. they are walnut, have nice carvings. If you need these custom upholstered to match an existing settee you might already have we offer upholstery services please ask us for detail and fabric selections.

This hard to find set of 4 parlor chairs is offered at only 375.00! that is less than 100.00 a chair! Please contact me at . Antique of the week showcases Victorian furniture aimed at those seeking to decorate their homes in a period, but affordable manner.
