As promised we actually did some work and just didnt buy things. The front garden beds by the street are coming along nicely and we planted the main central large bed. Plants were chosen that would work well in arrid or light moisture environments and will require little maintenace or water. One bed planted, 4 to go. There are connecting brick walks from sidewalk to street .
The other big thing this week has been the roto tiller and we are starting the process of terracing the front yard. The tiller makes this job easier but boy I wish I had a backhoe. Essentially we will create two terraces above the front bed which will have a retaining wall in between and be brick with planting beds. There is a lot to do.
