1880 Knox Save-not-Raze II: Progress Report

The second Save not Raze Project on Knox is transforming a remuddled 1880's Italianate and one more painted lady is on its way back on Knox Street. Already other neighbors have commented on the picket fence going up in front and commented they may be inspired to put one in front of their homes as well.

The siding was  remarkably well preserved  under the vinyl/insulbrick and you have to wonder why anyone ever covered it up.

The house also has the majority of its original mouldings throughout and two nice wood mantles, Just over 1900 square feet plus a full dry basement, Once stabilization is complete this should be a great home for a new owner to restore and the roof is only five years old!.
